Thanks for your good thoughts.
Buddy is doing great. The bite to my granddaughter made me finally get
in a professional. He loves those kids and is just a great dog but I had
to understand why he did this. It was eating me alive not knowing or understanding. With all the reading I did before I got him and after and
all the at home training I did with him he still, for whatever reason did
sporatic guarding. It drove me nut's. Now I understand it and know what
to look for and how to avoid it. He's such a quick learner. We're having
fun with all the new training and leaning.
He's actually walking on a leash next to me for the most part. Another
thing we needed to work on. After these private classes I am going
to sign him up for group sessions at her facility. I'm loving it and so
is Buddy.
