I thought I had read somewhere to never pull it out, that is why I asked. I've never before had one that I could get ahold of. Looks like there are different thoughts on that practice

thank God, it works everytime, I was told NEVER to pull either, so I don't,
It would take a major emergency for me to pull..
glad is out I always worry about a retained one.
