With Lexi, I find that she is up for anything but is content running around the house playing with the other dogs/cats. On average she goes to the dog park 3-5 times a week for an off leash romp (typically we're out there for about 1/2-1 hour).
I think all yorkies need exercise! My neighbors have 2 small dogs, one yorkie and another mix - they are sure yappy little things but I'm sure that if they got out for more walks it would help. I haven't seen them walk their dogs since we moved it over 2 years ago!
To me, a tired dog is a happy dog and a happy dog is a good dog
