I have Rambo in his crate right now and he is whining a lot. I was told that I should crate train. I only had Rambo for 2 days, so I know it will take time. I put him in the cage at night after he falls asleep in my arms. Couple of hours go by I assume he has to go the bathroom and that is why he is crying/whining. Take him out, goes to the bathroom, falls asleep about 20-30 min later.
This morning he woke up about 6:40. I took him out, played and I wanted him to eat but he would not eat. So I put him in the cage. And all he is doing is crying. I took him out and he curls right into my lap. I place him in front of the food to see if he will eat, he doesn't so I put in the cage and he is crying\whining his little heart out
. I put a clock radio in next to his cage for noise. I am trying to put him on a schedule for when I will be here.
Is this correct? Please help. I know this is based off of what I want to do in the end. But I would like to know if I am on the right track.
PS.. Hearing him whining is breaking my heart.
