The minimize and maximize circles are the first thing I tried, but they only enlarge or reduce the screen a little bit - I can't get the internet window to fill the screen. I also thought of dragging the edge of the window to enlarge it, but I haven't learned how to click and drag with the touchpad yet. That's something I'm going to google right now.
Thanks again! | Ok I found it. I guess a lot of people googled this same question. There's a download on Apple's website called Safari Stretch 2.0 that will stretch the window to fill the screen.  That's the first thing I'm going to do when I get home tonight.
