Well, I called.
And conveniently the grooming manager wasn't in today and they woul call back tomorrow or today. I hate to admit it, but she goes to Petsmart to be groomed, and up until now, they have done a perfect job. I work awkward hours and they are the only place I could find before that I could get to when they were open.
I have now called around and will be taking her to the groomer bmy mom used for 12 years - from beginning of her practice, until our two poodles passed away a long time ago (toy poodle was 20 and mini poodle was 18). So, this groomer has about 20 years+ experience and my mom loved her. So my mom called her for me this morning and she said that she can't believe how "stupid" those groomers are and if the hours I work are what is making me have to use Petsmart, then she will make expections and let me drop Sophie off when I leave for work (2pm) and finish work (9pm) even though she closes at 6pm. So I feel better knowing I can take her to this groomer despite my difficult hours.
I know they will probably not call back, but I have decided I will be definitely taking my business elsewhere. If I am going to be paying 50$, I will pay it to someone that will actually listen, that I have had recommendations for and that will allow me to see where the animals are kept. |
