Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and have a few questions I hope you guys can answer. I've been looking for a new place to live and I want to get a yorkie soon after I'm settled. I haven't been able to locate any local breeders so I wanted to know what you guys thought of Petland.
From what I've read so far I'm pretty much leaning away from them as a source for my pup. The shop that just opened up here wants $1,899. The kickers are a three year health guarantee and microchipping. I just can't seem to justify the price. Health guarantee doesn't mean much to me. Especially if the chances are high that there WILL be health problems. I'd rather have a good track record to begin with.
So, I guess my follow up would be, are any of you or do you know of any good breeders in the Columbus, GA area? I probably won't be in the market for my new family member until around late-Jan or early-Feb but, it doesn't hurt to know ahead of time
