I agree -- and I don't like any off leash, out of control dogs, big or small. (kudos to your big one for staying cool and collected)

I believe my Yorkie's aggression during our walks is the result of being charged and jumped on by other dogs. Despite my best efforts to be "calm assertive," he can probably sense that I am hyper alert, always on the lookout.
