I just read this and one thing I feel I should add. I have a feeling you might be questioning the vet with good reason. Not that it is all his fault. This was a horrible accident....but, I am really surprised that the vet did not say to bring him in. My vet said I could try to induce vomiting BUT if I did not SEE the pill it was imperative that I bring my pup in immediately!
I don't see that you were told that and it does concern me a bit.
It does not do any good to place blame, but I totally understand your being concerned about whether should you use the same vet in the future.
That above is something that would concern me....my vet was pretty insistent and told me it was a very dangerous situation!
