I read through the article. I am from KY and I know that in the past year or so there have been MANY cases of animal abuse and I think the public is seeing that KY law is lax. I know that there have been a few things trying to be passed (not sure of specifics). I didn't know (found this out by reading the article) that in KY, vets could not report suspected abuse/neglect, etc... which is stupid if you ask me. |
