I would also make sure food is available during the night also, in his crate or pen or wherever he sleeps. If he is nervous maybe he would be more likely to eat something when it is quiet and if he does get hungry he won't have to wait till morning to eat which might end up being too long for such a young pup. Missy had her bad spell very early in the AM. We also gave her wet food when she didn't seem to want to eat her dry. Anything to make sure she ate enough. Good luck. He's a cute little guy! Congratulations. Missy also got sick on the car ride home too.
