i am against this surgery as a friend on another yorkie had the surgery and died shortly after as the stent collapsed - there is not a high success rate and it is a fairly new surgery so i would never do this surgery
there is a group for this collapsed trachea on yahoogroups.com - i recommend joining that group for management
