Boy am I glad to read this. Mine has gotten 2 baby birds, both survived, almost got a baby bunny who was in his burrow and somehow got a baby squirrel. Before we moved to Kansas he hunted mice that were running along the back of the townhouse. We fenced off an area and he would spend all day back and forth hunting for them. Don't think he ever got one.
