Put her in her whelping box and talk to her, I don't rub so I don't interfere with labor pains,then again we all do details a bit different, you know your girl best so do what YOU think will help right now. I sit there and talk to her about how gorgeous her babies are going to be and watch her closely, also i offer her ice cream and some chicken broth in between contractions. have all your instruments sitting in alcohol and ready in reach. Make sure she is not pushing hard for more than one hour while she is in hard labor. Best of luck and wishing her a fast and safe whelping.
