I would think if they grow up together, in the same digs, they would be just fine. But, you may want to discuss this with your vet.
It also depends on the dogs.
Yorkies seem to have a reputation to be yappers, and my baby hardly ever barks. The vet said any dog can be a yapper. It just depends on how it was raised.
