I read that it a good idea to start handling your puppies feet right away (like when you're petting & loving on him), the theory being that when it comes time to clip their nails, it won't be as traumatic. We did this with our pups, and while I can't guarantee it works, I think it made some difference...Coco is definitely more tolerant of nail trims than Gracie is, however. My wife holds the puppy while I clip the nails.
