When we named our cat, we had several names picked out and couldn't decide. So we wrote them all down, put them in a bowl and picked one out. His name is Milo.
Jack is Cpt. Jack Sparrow as Milo's sister is pure black and my hubby named her Black Pearl. My daughter named Jack - since we had the Black Pearl, Cpt. Jack was fitting.
However, let it be known that you will call your fur baby everything under the son. Poor Jack is also called, Bubs, Bubba, Bubby, Bubsy, Cutie Patootie, Jackster, Jackie, Jack Sprat, Stinks, Stinky, just to name a few - Bubby is probably the most common one though.
So I know that was absolutely no help. I'm sure you will come up with a good name. I also like Bentley and I like Elvis for a boy too.
