I'm curious what about the site looked shady to you? To me, it looked like a lot of other on line stores owned by individuals, nothing that stuck out as shady though, maybe just amateurish.
I order
a bunch on line and have been very fortunate, having only a couple of bad experiences, one on ebay and another with an on line store. I do keep an active folder going with a copy of my order with expected ship dates, etc. If I don't hear from a company within a weeks time of placing my order, I'm contacting them. Also, I use paypal when possible as further buyer protection.
