The only thing I can think of is what are you going to do when it snows, which could be any day now? I put pads in my attached garage for inclement weather and night time. It can be too cold even for a bigger yorkie later on. That's about all I can think of. I'm so excited for you and Maddie. I know you'll be busy, but won't it be fun?
