It depends on where the testicle is located. Sometimes they end up in the abdomen, and it may result costing as much as a spay. I got lucky with my cat, his was just under the skin on his inner thigh.
Plus, the breeder should reduce the price, or pay for the additional surgery required to neuter him. IMHO
