In all honesty, if it were me, I would return the pup to the breeder. (BTW, "buying" from a breeder is not "adopting.") The breeder you got her from does NOT sounds like a very reputable one. She sold you a runt, at only 7 weeks old. (WAY too young--12 weeks is recommended by reputable breeders--and not even legal in some states.) The dog is sick and you are questioning if she is even purebred at this point, which is always a possibility.

I realize that you are already attached and are not likely to return her. (Completely understandable.) However, if you're taking a realistic look at the situation, it's not ideal. This is why so many stress the importance of researching first and taking one's time to find an ethical breeder.

In regards to her ears, it could be a genetic fault, or it could be because they have not been trained to stand. Try keeping them shaved, inside and out and possibly taped to get them standing. Given that she is the runt AND sick, be sure to educate yourself on the signs of low blood sugar and how to prevent AND treat it. Little ones are very prone to it, especially given her/your situation.
