I loved this book. It took longer than 7 days, but as others have said, pick a routine and stick with it. I can almost set my watch to her bowl movements lol. Syd uses her litter box in my bedroom at night and her puppy pad in the back room during the day. She just turned 8-months-old yesterday. I started using it with her when she was four-months-old. I recommend this book to anyone with a dog he/she is trying to house train.
