I have this book and have read it cover-to-cover twice. Unfortunately, my house-mates are not helpful when it comes to housetraining my pups. I work during the day and when I first attempted the schedule suggested in the book, I asked for help during the day vs keeping them confined. This went well for a couple of days, then on the third day the person in charge of puppy-sitting decided to nap all afternoon. Not only was there pee/poop on the floor, but also a new hole in the couch! Needless to say, I was NOT happy that day!! My dogs go outside for the most part... Only when they are left unsupervised (during the day while I am at work) they have accidents. I've tried to explain to them that the dogs will never stop going on the floor if they don't stick to the schedule. I may end up asking them to walk them at lunch and crate them until I get home; at least until they are both going outside 100% of the time.

I wish I'd never, ever, ever started using pee pads.

I have been frustrated about this for a while, and having 2 puppies (both 7 months old) makes this 2x as hard. I think Bella has it figured out, but Edward is a stubborn little boy!
