I think it is a great idea to introduce her and her husband to Tessa. Would be great to see how they both interact with her. As Nancy said, her age may not play a factor. My mother in law is 76 and she could run circles around me, she has a shih shu. I would give it a whirl myself. Never know, could be the best fit for Tessa.
