As suggested above, I use ex-pens for mine. Keeps them safe and out of trouble when I can't keep an eye on them. I use washable piddle pads that I love. Here's the ex-pen that I have:

Amazon.com: Iris CI-604 Indoor/Outdoor Plastic... Again, as suggested above, I would most definitely change the kibble brand.
