My Charlie is 5 and we just adopted a rescue Yorkie, Henry, from a small breed rescue organization. Henry is 2, housetrained (mostly), and fits in very nicely. I give them free reign of the kitchen and family room, but keep them blocked out of going into the living room and upstairs. It works pretty well and Charlie doesn't seem too put out by it. They eat the same food, drink the same water, and have begun to groom each other. The grooming part is absolutely hilarious.
We caught some flak for naming him "Henry", but we love calling for "Charlie -boo" and "Henry-potomus", aka "Prince Charles" and "King Henry". Very regal. If I could figure out how to post a picture of the two of them I would.
