This post seems nice but it really tells that you like to hear yourself talk, and have low respect for the many professionals who have worked hard to better this breed. I can't understand why you or others, who covet the Yorkie are so appauled to what the standards have been for many years.
So you don't agree with the show dog look, or the standard YTCA rules. Then just move on and try to learn about raising a healthy puppy. You love your puppy, others love theirs with a docked tail.
Docking a tail is not abuse. You might not like the idea or may think it's barbaric BUT it's not abuse. You made a comment in one of your post about why would anyone purchase a dog. That is not rocket science to figure out.
If you have so much passion for abused animals you should focus on abuse, instead of your disgust for Yorkshire Terrier owners/breeders who love the YTCA standard. There are numerous orgs out there that need your help...especially in the puppymill world. You stated someone "exude a seasoned air from a position of superiority"
