Angry HATED the vet!! Sry have to vent..

Grrr.. I decided to give another vet a try after hearing some good things from friends who go there and I HATED the vet. She was sooo unprofessional. She was rude, pushy, foul mouthed, mean, rough, snappy and seemingly uneducated. I took him in bc I had found a couple fleas on him and some redish spots that looked like they were from them chewing on him Now as you all know, Harley is still in his "working on his aggression" phase and is not perfect. So when she grabbed him (she didn't let him sniff her hands before she touched him like I had told her to) and he was snippy. He reached around and nipped at her hands and made some weird noise I've never heard him make before. He was obviously annoyed or scared and before I could try and correct him myself she grabbed his "beard" on his muzzle and used her other hand to knock his feet out from under him and flipped him on his side and shook his face and yelled at him saying things like, "I'm bigger than you so back off!", "Go ahead and try and bite me again I dare ya!" So I'm thinking.. wow.. get off my dog but I let it slide.. I myself can have quite a temper so therefore I try to avoid confronations if at all possible. So she did this about 4 or 5 times throughout entire appt. When I told her that I had picked live fleas off his belly and combed out some eggs she said word for word, "Well, duh you're going to have to put him on advantix." BTW, I have NEVER had a vet speak to me like this and I personally (don't know if anyone feels the same) do not appriciate it in any way. I then told her how I wanted to avoid putting anymore chemicals on him since all of them include the warning signs reading "Avoid skin contact, contact with eyes or ingestion. If any of these occurs call poison control blah blah blah". She then said word for word,"Well, if you won't give him the chemicals then you're going to have fleas, end of story." So I told her, yes I know but there are other methods of controlling flea and tick problems with natural ingredients, like garlic. I told her that I knew that garlic is toxic to dogs in large amounts but she looked at me funny and said I was wrong. She said that dogs aren't allergic to garlic at all. Well, that was the point where I decided she was lacking in the basic intelligence/education dept.. I mean.. She is supposed to be a vet right .. So she looked it up in a book and to her own amazement (and obvious annoyance) she realized I was right. And it ends up that it takes about a quarter of a lb of garlic (or onion) to poison your dog. (it didn't have any size/weight ratios listed though) Then she went back to looking over Harley and tried to flip him on his back and of course he flipped out and started flailing his legs trying to steady himself and stay grounded and she got mad and pinned him and yelled at him again! This time I was getting really upset and offered to hold him for her so I did and he was shaking! She then went on to criticize me and tell me that she had NEVER heard of or see an aggressive yorkie. She said all yorkies are sweet hearts and that Harley must have some serious rare behavior problems. I then explained about how the first child he ever met kicked him and now he's aggressive towards them, how if you don't allow him to sniff you first (basically rush him) he'll be scared and nip etc and she said that I should consider putting him down bc he's so aggressive!? WHAT THE HECK!? I said, "Mam, he's only 8 months old and just recently got fixed and we're working on the aggression problem, he's a very dominant dog. And it is stated in their breed description that they do not do typically do well in families with young children bc they can have short tempers and will bite if annoyed or if they feel trapped or threatened.".. she laughed.. And told me I was wrong. Lets just say I was getting irritated. So far she had managed to hurt and scare my dog, make him out to be a terrible, one of a kind killer, made me feel like a terrible yorkie mom and proved she was completely "garlic incompetent." Finally it was over and we were free to go.. Thank God.. And I paid and told myself I would NEVER go back again!

Sooo sorry it's so long.. But I just had to vent.. Am I being to judgmental or is this vet completely mental!?
