Since I live in the city - in a commercial condo building - I don't think we have any possibility of losing power. If we do, I can get over to my office and hang out here - full bathroom, kitchen, tv. Add a blow up bed and it can be home

Its 33 degrees right now so nothing is sticking - yet. Heavy stuff is on its way.

My parents are in the county, much more remote. Spoke with them this morning and they are prepping in case of power failure. Wood for fireplaces, extra blankets, they are on a well so they have buckets of water stored, etc. One of their neighbors has a generator so if worst comes to worst they will head next door. Funny, my mom was stressing about all the food in the deep freezer... I said you know if the power is out for more than 48 hours - toss it all into the snow! At least that made her laugh... LOL... they're tough, they'll be fine.

I just hope the drifts aren't too bad so I can get over to the snowman building contest tomorrow
