I thought it was probably wishful thinking. I live in Canada and I know that here the CKC has sent a directive to all the breed clubs to review their breed standards with regard to tail docking but I was pretty sure that since the YTCA had just amended the standards regarding color that there would be no more changes for them in the near future.
I was a little taken aback when I realized that Frisco did not actually know that her little dog was not born with a short tail. I find it amazing that one would actually purchase a dog of any breed without doing their homework.
