Thanks for your reply! I feed the rabbit. His nutritionist says that it is a "cleaner" meat. I, too, try to take out the larger bones...it's a mess, but I have a smaller baby that eats a small amount and I have to take out all of the fragments for her baby teeth. My daughter is visiting with her 2 yorkies, so all 4 ate the same thing - no problems, so I don't think the food was bad. I just don't know if he needs to be on antibiotics regardless. I have been waiting all morning for him to go to the bathroom...I'll definitely take him if there is any blood, just not sure if there is a need for antibiotics if there is no blood. These babies keep us on our toes, don't they! I worry to death about them!!! |
