This is all new to me and I'm getting a little nervous for her only having two puppies. Someone once told me that it's better for the mom to be carrying at least four puppies just so that the puppies won't have much room to get bigger making it easier for mom to deliver. Now I don't know how true this is, but my girl will be on day 61 on the 14th of February. Before the pregnancy she was 6 lbs and now she is 7.8 lbs the father of the puppies weights under 5 lbs, both grandfathers weight under 3lbs and grandmothers weight 6 lbs.
She seems to be getting big on her belly and looks like she has more than two I just pray that they are not bigger than what she could handle. I will be bringing her back to the vet for another x-ray on the 13th to double check |
