It was to be my dog. Well the night I brought her home he said ..Shes cute .. The next week I heard that I was acting "kinda crazy" putting a sweater on a dog and that she is to little to be a dog ....am I sure I didn't get a hamster by mistake
By week three when she would cuddle in his lap ...he was goo ! Now she cuddles with him at night in our bed ( so I am the bad guy when I put her back in her bed) He brings her treats / toys home after work ... He even puts pj's on her when I am gone because she may get cold. Yeah , She has him wrapped around her paw and I have lost my dog to my dh She is still a full blown mama's girl all day long ( she is my shadow) but when daddys home...she is with him!
Now Mr. "I want a real dog , a bulldog" has been talking about wanting another dog ...I assumed a bully but no , he wants another YORKIE !! |
Ah! My husband wanted a bulldog, but since we were getting a dog so I wasn't lonely when he works nights Thur - Sat., I picked out Winston. He even referred to him at the beginning as "your dog". My husband originally just helped out, and I brought Winston to puppy classes, bought sweaters, walked him, fed him, etc. My husband is home during the day and was busy working on our home repairs. Now that everything's done he's had more free time, and HE MUST BE SPOILING WINSTON while I'm at work. This week Winston has been following my husband around, sitting on his lap, and sleeping pressed up against him! I feel so hurt. I'm looking forward to this weekend, when my husband is at work at night, so that I can try to spoil Winston & win back his affections. Hope it works.
