Hi everyone - I am also a first time mom of a small furbaby. My last was a Great Dane - so this is quite an experience. I did do a lot of reading before I got Bridget, so this potty thing is something I expected. After the first week Bridget was peeing on the pee pads if I sat with her, and now she will go on her own. Which thrills me to no end. The poo thing - well she has had
one accident...I'm sure it was an accident because she actually
used the pad...
. I have tried everything - at least I think I have. Last night when I had her on the pad she was so bored she fell asleep sitting up. It reminded me of potty training my kids.
Anyway - I just want to thank everyone who takes the time to post for newbies like me to read - sometimes I get so frustrated and start to think that it's me - but it sure helps to see that there are others out there in the same position.
