Filters! To protect your glass. Here is one post I did before, but I'll show you exactly what you need....

You'll want a 67mm UV Protection Filter67mm UV Protection Filter , like this one (or any generic 67mm UV filter) for your 18-105mm.

If your 70-300 is this one: Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED IF AF-S VR Zoom Nikkor, then the 67mm will also fit that lens , yay! If it's the non-VR, then I think you might need a 52mm filter.

Lastly, it's nice to get an extra battery at some point, bc then when your battery runs down, you can charge one while using the other....but no hurry on that, ya know?
