Here is where I different from some that disagree with docking...as long as tail docking doesn't interfere with the health of the dog and it hasn't and as long as it's in our standard I will dock...I do like a docked tail BUT here comes the difference...IF and WHEN the standard calls for a full tail I will also support that even tho I do prefer a docked tail but I would show an undocked tail or docked tail when the standard changes. If I knew in my heart of hearts that docking a tail would harm my babies health wise I wouldn't do it...AGAIN I will state I prefer my dogs to most humans anyway because they are more loyal than any human will ever be. I am fortunate enough to have my kid and grandkids love me and take me for who I am but if they were to choose to decide otherwise I do know my yorklets will always love me tail or no tail because they run my house and just let me live here
So whether you agree with me or not I assure you my yorkies live better here at my house better than I do and I believe in docking
