They also whimper when they are hungry, scared, get scolded or dont get what they want when they want it, when they want to cuddle, get nail clippings, or getting fur plucked from their ears, but its got to be done. I'm not convinced ear fur plucking doesnt hurt.

I like my yorkies tails docked.....especially for sanitary reasons. Think about how much garbage they could pick up on their tail fur when they are out and about if they were in medium to full length coat.

It definately should be done by someone qualified and trained to do it in the most pain-free manner possible.
