I highly suggest having a full blood panel done as opposed to a regular cbc. This is not a blood test whose results would be available the morning of surgery...so plan to do have it done the week before
My two neutered boys came home and acted like they'd had nothing done earlier in the day. The waiting is the worse...I'm sure your baby wil be fine.
