I remember Buddy when he was 13lbs then got sick and dropped to
11lbs. The vet thought this was a good weight for him but to me
he looked sickly and skinny. You get to know your pup and know what
they should look like. I was so happy when he started getting better
because the weight came back on and he looked so much better
filled out. That was 4 yrs ago so he has gained more finally stopping
at 16lbs and he is yet to look heavy. He looks just right.
Do you think your boy looks better with more weight on him? If so
then I would say he needs it. Momma always knows best. |
