The best thing you can do is get him used to a few new sights and sounds every day.
New people are very important and after he gets over some of his fright and you
see a pretty young thing, you might ask her to hold him for a minute because you
are trying to get him used to new people. The puppy socialization class is worth it's
weight in gold too if you can work that into your schedule.
