My son is 3 as well. I made sure to look for a yorkie that was not going to be in the smaller catagory. Be VERY careful with them when they play together. My son even has experience with the pug and has had the cat since he was a baby, but I still don't let him pick her up or be alone with her. Take some time to read the sick/injured boards of some of the stuff that happens to tinies. Not long ago someone's 2 year old fell on a tiny puppy and killed it. It seems like they're always breaking their legs by jumping off of the bed or out of arms. Poor babies, I always feel so sad for the families. I even had an instance last week where my son and the puppy were in the front of the cart and the puppy fell through the hole and into the bottom part. It was really scarey. Just keep a good eye on both of them. |
