Actually I think this is one of the best places to place puppies. This site proves that the person wanted to RESEARCH the breed before buying, which is very important. People who go to petstores or even pick up the paper might be buying on impulse. On here you are more likely to find people experienced with yorkies who just want to add to their family or have been looking for one for a while, but the perfect one hasn't come by yet. Then again the responses I got were over 50 and no one seriously interested.
Though my pups are purebred, AKC registered and I have or can show 2 generations back. Only someone who cares for this breed can do this for prospective families. I'm sure their are others that go back even further with their generations.
Like I said though, when I place an ad in my local paper. The pups can be placed in a weeks time.
