Hun, you look gorgeous from your picture. You are a strong woman , think back to why you broke up 3 years ago? You say it was his decision to break up. He knows what you feel for him but you have to have the upper hand. If he wants you he has to prove it.
Of course his remark would have hurt you especially if you felt things were going well. I would let him sweat, as hard as it may be not to want to contact him, make him come running to you.
I was married for 16 years to a bully and finaly had the courage to leave him. I wasn't looking for anybody and was enjoying my single life and then this gorgeous policeman came into my life and we are now married.
He is the one who is missing out. You never know what or who is around the corner. I hope it works out for you which ever path you take.
