Jackson looks adorable in his hooded fur jacket. He doesn't get cold easily but during all of this snow, he gets colder faster and after about 35 minutes outside, he will sometimes start shaking esp. if he's not running around. So I feel more comfortable having him in his warm coat, plus I keep his hair really short, and I know he likes it because he doesn't put up a fight while putting it on at all. I just feel more comfortable knowing he's warm and then we can be outside longer. He never wears clothes in the summertime or when it's not necessary but of course the things I buy him for winter are all cute and adorable
I used to be the same way when it came to the topknots and long coats. I am a tomboy, so of course my dog will be one too. Nope! bf was hating how I kept cutting her hair short, but never said a thing, until FINALLY he said something and we are growing out her coat. and what do you know? I love it! I do her topknot only on special occasions, clips daily, and I've even started using bows! *GASP* I draw the line at the tiara clips, though they are absolutely adorable (see Milu, perfect example of a beautiful doll with a tiara) Uni is just not, how shall I put it, refined enough to wear a crown. She'd have it all crooked and sideways in 2 secs!
