The emergency clinic admitted her at noon Mon for dehydration, fever (the burn looked like only a hotspot at that time). They immediately admitted her and started IV's, antibiotics and asked the owner (my friend) if she wanted them to resuscitate if it came to that - as I said, it's not been a good week! But I have to say thank you to all for your support - I feel better which in turn will help my friend when I talk to her again tomorrow. Have attached a pic of my crew...my best friends...have to give them a shoutout after being on the puter for hours. |
Your little trio is adorable.
Please keep us posted about Chloe - this thread was the first I hit when I logged in at 6 am - I really hope she's pulls thru the surgery and even more - the recovery.....infection is going to be the big worry
I do hope that groomer gets rid of those dryers and doesnt back away from the big vet bills. From what you said it sounded like he was very upset which shows he is compassionate but he dropped the ball. Those heaters are a possible death trap and no groomer should
ever leave a dog unattended or those dryers on high. I agree they should be taken off the market.
Patti - I had no idea about your burn sweetie ! your offer for Chloe was so generous -
Please tell your friend people all over the world are praying for Chloe.
