Before the Iditarod, senior homes and other retired folks raise funds by mass producing booties for the sled dogs. Can you imagine how many booties 70 16-dog teams would go through over the course of 1,000 miles?

Robin, do you use elastic to attach the velcro? That's the best thing I like about heidi and company's booties. The elastic allows you to get them just a wee bit tighter so they don't fall off. Most people just use straight velcro, which isn't stretchy. But attaching the Velcro to the elastic makes a big difference.
