Just like human hair, yes, dog hair quality is linked to good nutrition. However, your concerns about hair thickness and length relate more to your baby's age and breeding.
One of the breeders/exhibitioners here can give you better info than I can (first time, 1-year Yorkie owner), but if I recall correctly, some Yorkies that have sparse hair at an early age grow up to have beautiful, lush coats.
Don't despair. Unless her hair is falling out or she shows other signs of illness, I don't think you need to worry. She looks precious to me! |
