We're in MO and the mosquitos could be around most the year too; however, I wondered if anyone thought it absolutely necesssary to get the heartworm test yearly, since they are on medicine all year - but maybe you meant those nasty little buggers could sneak a bite in on the dogs and they should be tested even though they stay on medicine all year.
