It sounds like your vet is doing what he can to diagnose. You are right...many illnesses have the same symptoms and it takes a very skilled person with veterinary training to diagnose ...using all of the lab and other tests that they do...along with a comprehensive physical exam. No one can diagnose without seeing a pup! The real key to being a good diagnostician is not just ordering a bunch of tests and jumping to conclusions because if they are methodical about how they work, the answer does appear. It is like being a Sherlock Holmes! Clues come up as they go along. He is the one with all of her tests and he will figure this out! What did he say today?
