I feel abandoned! When I first got my Yorkie 8 months ago she was MY baby and whenever I was at home she was my shadow, she followed every step I made and if I sat down she wanted in my lap. My husband didn't even want to get another dog after our little rat terrier died. My husband is retired but I still work full-time. He is at home most days and it didn't take him long to get attached to her and spoil her and now it seems that he is her favorite person. Even when I'm home she sometimes sits in his lap and she minds him better than she does me too. Of course, I'm always the bad guy who gives her a bath and scolds her when she's bad, he only plays with her and gives her treats. I keep teasing him that I am going to get me another puppy since he took mine, but I'm afraid he will take over the new puppy too. Of course I'm glad she doesn't miss me and mope all day while I'm gone, but I think my feeling are hurt!!!
